that no larger amount will have been drawn from the Commissariat Chest on account of Colonial Expenditure for the year 1947; the actual Parliamentary vote for the year would warrant, of likewise that
the present Governor will not omit to attend to the suggestion in the letter

drawn by this department on 17th December last in regard to limiting the expenditure
of the Government to such amount as
the local Revenue with the Parliamentary vote for the year may furnish the means of defraying
